Christ Church on G Street, SE
Christ Church was the first Episcopal Church in Washington. The Parish was created by the Maryland Vestry Act of 1794. It is the earliest structure in the city built to serve an ecclesiastical purpose and is listed in The National Historic Register.
The Hawk and Dove Restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue, SE
The Hawk and Dove restaurant is more than 40 years old and the oldest Irish Pub in DC. The building is over 100 years old and was extensively renovated. It received the Capitol Hill Restoration Society award.
The Maples House on D Street, SE
Built in 1797 the Maples house boasts a list of celebrity guests including George Washington as well as memorable residents such as Francis Scott Key. In recent years it provided social services for families in need. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
